Doris, what are you responsible for at CHEMIA?
I manage our two petrol stations – and support the finance and purchasing departments.

What do you particularly like about working at CHEMIA?
Our team – the people I work with all day. My work in itself – very varied.

Why are you now practicing this profession at CHEMIA?
It turned out that way over the years. I started originally as a dispatcher. After a brief maternity break, I was able to get back into it by the hour initially and then gradually built up the hours again. I have been managing the petrol station in Zurich for a long time. Finances were added later and purchasing just recently.

In your opinion, what can a potential new employee look forward to at CHEMIA?
To great and helpful colleagues.

What have you experienced in the years at CHEMIA that you will always remember?
Rather a lot… my father worked here for over 45 years – that gave me very good childhood memories when we were able to visit him. The hot chocolates form the machine. Chemia has changed a lot in recent years and has developed further. There are of course many amusing stories from the petrol station in Zurich. There is always something going on there.
